We’re here to help greater Greenville, SC home owners measure and mitigate their radon.  We have a diverse background in construction, real estate, and home systems that we put to use every day.  It’s our knowledge in the industry that helps us guide our clients with the right solution for them.

Many of us here at Radon Recon have also served in the U.S. military and that’s part of our identity with the logo and the name.  Since you can’t see, smell, or taste radon, it’s important to employ the right devices to detect it; very similar to reconnaissance.  Hopefully you wouldn’t go into battle without first performing a little reconnaissance.  Knowledge is what is needed with radon since it can be deadly.

We simply believe that something that can be deadly should be dealt with, and we’re putting our skills to task to deal with it every day.  While radon is a known carcinogen there’s no need to panic if your test results come back above 4 pCi/L, as radon can be mitigated very effectively.  The systems we recommend and install are matched to the circumstances of your home so there is no one answer for everyone.  The best thing you can do if you’re concerned about radon is to get your home tested, and after that, talk to a certified radon mitigation contractor to mutually decide the best course of action.
